.... Additional IP addresses is not a reason to pay 2x more for an equivalent server.
Please, can you develop ???
I paid for several years about 15 € a month for my old KS-1 - and also 1 € a month for my 3 IP failover.
Now, I'm paying 32 € for a server (ok, a sys) with 12 IPv4 included.
I know many things are still 'the same' but I'm having a hard time using the word "equivalent ".

KS servers CAN'T even accept IP failovers anymore because the routers in front of these servers who handle the IPFO are dumb switches these days, not the xxxx € ones, so technically it is impossible to add IPFO's. That is one of the reasons why they dropped the price: they dropped the options.

Speaking in easy terms : if you need IPFO's, you do not want a KS.

Hello,

Essentially, is it is still possible to use multiple IP addresses by paying extra for them or is it absolutely impossible to have any more than 1 IP address under any circumstance?
response : only 1 IPv4 and IPv6 even if you pay 50€ per IP.

Please do not advise me of SoYouStart servers as an alternative. Additional IP addresses is not a reason to pay 2x more for an equivalent server.
it's not the same since SYS server have a 1Gb/s link between switch and server + 250Mb/s guarantee AND a hardware support (with SLA) 24/7 with mail and phone number + "free" Failover IP addresses (2€ for activating the single IP or IP Block), RAID 1 software (or hardware on high end)

KS server == 100Mb/s (best effort) between switch and server + server, support from Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with NO SLA ), NO RAID

See : http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/failover-ip.xml + http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/essential-servers/ + http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/support/

I know that you only get 1 IP address with Kimsufi.

What is not clear is that while in the past we got 4 IP's including the machine as part of the server package, it is not clear whether you can order (under a separate contract / billing cycle) additional IP's and pay for them separately.
